What our client’s say.
MartinThank you for the help, support and guidance you have provided me, over the last couple of months.
You have opened my mind and soul, to understanding where my inner thoughts are stored, and how to reconnect with them.
Learning to understand why I think in certain ways, and what influences my behaviour and reactions, has helped me make friends again, with my inner-self.
Your gentle, kind interaction allowed me to open up and begin a journey that is starting to transform my life.
It has been a much tougher journey than I imagined. Plenty of tears and hours of reflection following our meetings. The hard work is done away from you, processing, rationalising and discarding negativity.
I am now 75% of the way through the Periodontal treatments, that I never believed I would ever be able to do, due to my phobia. Much more than that, I have a new found confidence to challenge myself in situations that perhaps I was avoiding before.
Thank you again for all your help,
SueI saw David re very high anxiety I was experiencing.
I was struggling to keep a lid on my anxiety levels and it was colouring every aspect of my life: from trouble sleeping, to concentration.
David took me through a calming technique and within a few minutes I was much calmer. I had a very gruelling day, the day after seeing David and I was able to confidently use the steps he showed me, to get through the day and to keep calm.
I would highly recommend David to anyone suffering with anxiety and/or confidence issues.
AnneI am an avid horse enthusiast and have experienced a lack of confidence in my riding ability and general care of horses. Jackie helped me understand what may have caused my fear and how I could understand it better, to be able to tackle it. It only took one session to enable me to feel much calmer about my interaction with horses, and now a few weeks on, I feel truly reinvigorated. Jackie is a knowledgeable and compassionate individual, who explored my issues with care and understanding. Her service is highly recommended.
PeterWhen I first started working with Jackie I was drifting through my 40s. I was lacking direction and had no idea where I wanted to go with my life. The way I was feeling was causing me to snap at colleagues and loved ones, and then I would beat myself up for how I was behaving. This was affecting my outlook on life and my confidence was at rock bottom. Trouble was, any dreams and aspirations I had for the future were just that. Dreams! I could always find a reason that made any plans impossible to achieve. I was an expert at finding reasons not to make changes.
One of the first things that Jackie told me was ‘You can do anything you want to do”.The sessions with Jackie were always a positive experience, and I came away from every one of them feeling motivated and more confident about myself. Even after the first meeting with her, I could feel a change in my outlook. And I quickly realised, all the skills I need to succeed in life are within me. Jackie just helped me find ways to develop these skills. She has helped me to realise that I have the ability and the drive to achieve the things I want to achieve. I have developed skills and techniques that I use every day, which help me cope with pressures of daily life.I am now applying to go back to studying (something which I wouldn’t have even considered a few months ago), and I am excited for my future. It’s certainly been a long time since I’ve said that!I now know that I really can ‘do anything I want to do’

I have been living with secondary breast cancer for 10 years now. One of the things that I believe has helped get me through is having a positive attitude and looking after myself mentally and physically and always trying to nourish my body with good food and nutrition.
The last few years have been tough as treatments have only worked for short periods of time and I have become quite ill on a few occasions. Before I was put in touch with Jackie I was struggling in general. This had begun when the chemotherapy tablets I was on had stopped working and I became poorly quite quickly. I had become withdrawn and anxious which isn’t like me. I was worrying about anything and everything and I was struggling to think straight. Everything took great effort and I was stressed a lot of the time. None of this is a good state to be in when you have health issues!
Talking with Jackie helped me to realise that I had gone off track and was having a blip.
She taught me great relaxation and stress reduction techniques and ways to help myself when I was getting into a state of anxiety. This really helped when I was sat in the hospital waiting rooms waiting for appointments or to be called in for chemotherapy! We also did some visualisation techniques which I use and is something positive to do whilst having treatment. I am also able to manage the fatigue better and have the tools to make me feel more energised.Jackie gave me an understanding into why my mind was behaving as it was and the rationale behind it. I was able to realise the things I had stopped doing which helped me to cope, like daily meditation and things i had omitted from my diet. I had also stopped doing simple things like listening to music and reading and enjoying holistic therapies like acupuncture and even trying new things.
Jackie has taught me to realise and embrace the fact that I’m on a different path in life and to take enjoyment in all the things that I am able to do and not stare back at my life before weekly chemotherapy. I have learnt to take time for myself and to not feel guilty for relaxing and giving my body the chance to repair and heal.Week by week I feel better and much more like my old self. Jackie guided me back onto the right track.
I have seen big improvements in myself and feel much happier and able to deal with things. I am enjoying life again. I feel I am back to being a strong person, something I wasn’t sure I’d be again. I’m so glad our paths met when they did. I would recommend Jackie and this therapy to anyone.
